User permissions and settings


As an administrator, you can manage permissions for your users and your customer users. By setting permissions, you give users the permission to use certain parts of the system. These parts can e.g. be the ability to create and modify items, such as work or service orders.

To grant and change permissions for users in the system, you need to sign in with the administrator account.

How to edit permissions
  1. Sign in with the administrator account.
  2. Enter the group’s settings by clicking on the group’s name on the home page.
  3. Scroll down to the Users section. Click on the person you want to grant or change permissions for.
  4. Select Edit permissions.
  5. Tick ​​the permissions you want the user to have and then go to the bottom of the page and press the Save changes button.
  6. A user marked with (external) means that it has limited permissions.

Create a permission template

You can also create a permissions templates to quickly grant new users permissions. When you then add users, you simply select a template that fits.

To create a permissions template, follow these steps:

  1. Select an existing user who have permissions that fits your new template.
  2. Click on Create a new template.
  3. Name the template and click for the permissions to be activated in the template.

You can create multiple templates with different settings.

Of course, you can make changes to the permissions of individual users without affecting the template.

However, you can not make changes to an existing template.
